When we got home, I had my mechanic check out the truck. Not only did he say he did a great job, but his guess at the price was more than what I paid. THANK YOU Arnold's! You get a big cyber hug from us!
Helped me out so much the few times I needed a tow or car help
Not only was he there BUT HE OFFERED TO FIX MY TRUCK THAT NIGHT! A Saturday night when he wasn't even really open! Turned out my bearing had gone, so the truck was extremely dangerous to drive. Our whole vacation could have been a bust at that point, but he made the repairs and I was on my way by about 9:00.
WHAT A NICE GUY!! And a good mechanic! We were vacationing at Crawford Notch and drove over to Loon (about an hour away) for an event on a Saturday. My left front tire was doing some funky stuff on the way down and was so bad when we started back, it was obvious something was very wrong. We pulled into Arnold's not knowing what we were in for or if he was even open (it was ~6:00 PM by now).
Got a flat on a rental and Ned drove all over town to find a decent replacement. Stopped what he was doing to get us taken care of and back on the road. Hope you don't need em, but if you do, they're great.
PS: the shop is just before (or after, depending where you're coming from) of Clark's Trading Post on Route 3.
Awesome business! The owner and staff were super! Very knowledgable and friendly. We were on vacation and needed an oil change. It was a Friday and they were booked solid, but fit us in. If you live in the area or youre just visiting, and need any automotive work, this is the place to go.
John (owner) is one of the few remaining human beings with a good and honest heart. If you ever need anything car related go to this place!
