Really great idea! It was raining all day and this place is a great place to go if the outdoors is not viable. In fact, it's a great place to go anyway! There are loads of plates, ornaments, and other paraphernalia available to paint and glaze. You can leave it with the studio and they will fire it and you can either collect it after the firing date or they can send it to you. We had our sent all the way back home in the UK and although we waited a good few weeks, it eventually arrived in perfect condition. Very friendly family business which I would highly recommend.
This was my wife's idea, (not usually my scene), but I actually really enjoyed it. The calm, quiet atmosphere was very relaxing, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We ended up spending way more time than we expected to, and made tons of memorable pieces for our new house. I'd recommend it to anyone on vacation trying to mix it up and get out of the sun or rain for a few hours of relaxation.
So many colors to choose from to paint the selection of pottery that you will love,and a cup of tea to help you relax and enjoy the moment.
This was so fun and the women who run the store are wonderful..... two days of painting and we loved our masterpieces......
